“A chocoholic's dream come true”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

We just ate dessert here with our kids, ages 6 and 9, and it was their very favorite part of our trip to NYC. Lots of good choices for dessert, friendly staff, great atmosphere.

“Simply Amazing!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I love Max Brenner! The decor is really cool and has almost this Charlie and The Chocolate Factory vibe with pipes that run up near the ceiling labeled as "chocolate". I've come quite a few times and every time I've been all of my servers were freakishly pleasant which just doesn't happen in a new york city restaurant, like, ever. Try the waffle you won't be disapponted.
I hear their regular food is tasty but honestly I wouldn't know.

“Enjoyable”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I took my two children to this restaurant on a Friday evening and found it very enjoyable. I was somewhat underwhelmed by the fish tacos, but we really went here for the chocolate. For desert, we ordered the European Special which consisted of banana chunks, strawberries, marshmallows, and brownies. We were given a micro hibachi to melt the marshmallows. For dipping, we chose milk chocolate, white chocolate and caramel, which were warmed by the little flames beneath each of the pots. It was fun and delicious to skewer, dip and enjoy. The place was packed and a quick look around the room showed people of all ages enjoying the heavenly chocolate themed treats. For a once in a while treat, this place was truly enjoyable.

“Great for families”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Visited here Easter weekend was super busy but staff handled it well. We we seated upstairs and our server Tony was great.entrees very good service excellent dessert well this is a chocolate place was very sweet! The creeps filled with bananas and cartelized pecans and chocolate were great but so rich. The hugging bowl of hot chocolate very creamy rich and so smooth.60 dollars for 2 which included tip tax and a beer so not outrageously priced. Fun place to visit
