“Rock solid steaks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013

Not being able to get into a known steak house in Brooklyn, I looked around for another alternative. The concierge recommended Benjamin's, especially as it was also just a block away from my hotel. Walking in, there was a strong buzz in the restaurant, noisy and full. You can understand why - we ordered the porterhouse and ribeye to share and both were excellent, and the portions were more than generous. Well worth the price. The cost of the wine was however somewhat on the high side. All in all, an experience that would bring me back.

“Best part was the Wedge Salad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

Overall a pretty good lunch, a little pricey but good atmosphere and we had a wonderful booth in the corner overlooking the rest of the restaurant. The best part of the meal was the think, fresh bacon on the wedge salad. We also had calamari (a little over cooked), and petite filet mignons. The filets were cooked perfectly, though the mushroom sauce was a little bland. The mashed potatoes accompanying the steaks were smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Overall it was very good but not one of the best steakhouses I've ever been too. Service was fast but not very friendly.

“It's a great steakhouse”

Lovely food in a nice clubby atmosphere.

Steakhouses in the US are expensive but when you see the size of the steaks you understand the reason why.

“ATMOSPHERE, BACON, STEAK, CHEESECAKE & RICKY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2013

Great Atmosphere, Amazing Bacon App, Outstanding & Juicy Rib Eye, Creamy & Delicious Cheesecake and the Absolute Best Staff in The Big Apple – Benjamin Steakhouse has it ALL!

Some say it’s too loud inside of Benjamin’s – I believe the “noise” helps make an exciting atmosphere. The noise is a room full of happy guests enjoying the company of their family and friends. Now, if you are looking for something a little more intimate, just ask to be seated upstairs. Another benefit of sitting upstairs, if you can get a seat along the railing you can look down on the main floor and people watch.

The Bacon App is a MUST and I recommend a dropping a little of the Benjamin Sauce on your plate and dipping the Bacon in it – good stuff.

The Rib Eye remains my favorite at Benjamin’s. Most order it Medium-Rare of Medium but I’m the oddball that orders it Medium-Plus. No Benjamin Steak Sauce needed for this steak as the seasoned steak & juices are plenty full of flavor for sure.

You cannot leave Benjamin’s without topping off the meal with a piece of Cheesecake.

One of the best things at Benjamin’s is that they never rush you. You have time between courses to rest up for the next.

I would also like to thank our server, Ricky, for yet another fantastic experience at Benjamin’s last weekend. When you go request Ricky and I assure you that you will feel like family.

“Worth every penny.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2013

We could not have been more pleased with our experience at this restaurant.

Our family went there to celebrate my Husband's birthday. And, let's just say, from the moment we were seated until the time we left the restaurant, we received top-notch service.

The wait staff were wonderful and extremely helpful in the menu selections.

The food was excellent!!!! My son even used the word "fantastic" for the food, which is a first for him.

I can't say enough about this restaurant, other than "GO"!!!!!
