My partner and I were a bit surprised at the sparse room, just one set of bunk beds, sink, and two lockers, but had no complaints. The elevator was tiny and incredibly slow, but a necessity when staying on the sixth floor and carrying luggage. It was rather noisy and a bit stuffy, so having the air conditioner in the room helped solve both those problems. One of the bathrooms on our floor had been nicely updated, another had not and was rather dodgy. I saw a cockroach in one of them the first night we stayed, but none after. I did wake up after the second night with several bedbug bites, though my partner, sleeping on the top bunk, seems to have none. Security did not seem to be very good, as we came and went as we pleased, never questioned by staff; the rooms had one very simple deadbolt. I was very comfortable with the part of the city it's located in, nice neighborhood, close to the subway lines and plenty of places to eat nearby. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone, except for the bedbugs!!More
