Didn't think I would enjoy this musical but what a show!! Singing and musical arrangements were unbelievable. Definitely go to see this show if you go to NY.

It's a great show. Love this cast. "Master of the House" is genius. Also, it's the best "Bring Him Home" I've ever heard. GO!

This was my first Broadway play, I am a big fan of Les Miserables, have read the book and watched the movie. The play was indeed a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed the random humor that would pop during the play.

My husband and I just saw Les Miserable last night - bravo!!! This was my 6th or 7th time seeing it (three times on Broadway, twice in London) I believe that Les Miserables is the best Broadway musical. If you are going to see it for the first time you should definitely take the time beforehand and listen to the music. You should also familiarize yourself with the plot and at least read a summary online.
Ramin Karimloo's performance as John Valjean was outstanding. Characters that played Marius, Fantine, Javert and the innkeeper and wife were very good too. Eponine's performance was not the best, especially since I was privileged to see Lea Salonga play the part many years ago (Tony Award winner for Best Performance by Leading Actress in a Musical for Miss Saigon). There were some notable changes to the new performance. The staging/special effects are better than before. But I do have some criticism's: some of the physical scenes/fights were a bit over the top, or overacted. Some changes to the original play seem a bit "Disneyish". Some changes/adaptations seem to follow the recent movie, for example, the scene in the factory where Fantine is thrown out. I felt some of the vulgarity/crudeness could be taken down a notch. Extra humor added in by innkeeper's wife was very funny and a good addition to the play. To sum it up, Les Mis was spectacular. Best part was when Ramin sang my favorite song, "Bring Him Home". Go see it!!
