Convenient to a number of subway lines; walk to SoHo, east and west villages, Chelsea, Chinatown, Little Italy, etc. Room was pretty good for NYC. Front desk folks were very accomodating. Nice gym as well.

The rooms are big and quiet, the King bed was very confortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
The position is ideal to visit SoHo (at walking distance) and the rest of Manhattan since the hotel is right above Canal Street subway station.

A good value hotel with very helpful staff who accommodated an early check in and then moved me to front street room with great view of a busy street scene. Thanks !Comfortable and free coffee downstairs.Excellent breakfast and for some reason a Ducati Panigale (motorcycle) on show in the breakfast bar - made my morning ! They organized a car to JFK early on Sunday for little more than a cab would have cost -thanks again

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, you can save money by parking your own car in the garage at 311 W Broadway, discount coupons can be found online. Be careful walking around. Head into soho and Greenwich village and you will be fine. Head down Canal street after dark and you might find yourself in trouble. Easy access to the subway. The E train can take you to 5th ave. if you need to go uptown. We will stay here again in the future.

Came out of the Holland Tunnel and there it was. Arrived a few hours early but Vinny at the front desk took our bags and stored them until our room was ready. The valet service was also very good. Within about a one mile radius you've got enough to keep you busy for a week. The 9/11 Memorial, Chinatown, Little Italy, and Tribeca. There is a subway stop about one block away. We toured Chinatown while waiting for our room which was ready when they said it would be. Although described as a corner room it technically was not - but we still had a view of 6th Ave. Their windows are excellent outside noise reducers. For a NYC room it was a good size. The place is neat and clean, the staff friendly, the elevators work well. You can have breakfast in the attached restaurant, the AOA. Next time I stay in Tribeca I'll be back.

Just returned from New York. A really lovely hotel in a very good location. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and kept their promise to keep us a room far from the elevators on the highest floor though we arrived midnight from JFK and the hotel was fully booked. I booked through Hilton web-site and had the price already with all taxes included, so no surprise in that area either. Booked room with city view though would have liked to get regular but those were sold out.
The rooms are small for family of 4 but nothing doing, one can cope. Bathroom was cleaned daily, also 2 extra towels, bed sheet and linen were brought up within 10 minutes as I had forgotten to mention about us being 4 and need of extra. The only noise was from the little fridge and we couldn't fix that. There is coffee machine and tea-coffe bags ready in the room but we didn't need that as every morning and evening there was 2 different types of coffee and hot water, milk, half-and-half and interesting flavored milks available in the lobby of hotel. They also served cookies what we always missed arriving late from the city.

Easy access from Canal station to nearly all subway lines either under the hotel or up to 3 blocks away. The hotel is basically on the edge of SOHO, Chinatown very close, easy walk on West Broadway or 6th Avenue (both passing the front of hotel) to the Midtown and Wall Street area.
Traffic is nearly non-existant in the evening except Canal street being jammed during the days and not much noise, we didn't heard any during our stay. Very safe area as police station is around the corner. We had our breakfast 2 streets further in Bubby's but had some beers in the AOA's Grill one evening. They had large selection.
If needed will always stay in that hotel.

Room Tip: last floor away from elevators

Clean, consistent and well priced, this small Hilton is a good option - I didn't hear any street noise despite being so close to Canal street. Good sized rooms with microwave, fridge and coffee - amazing.

Subway to go uptown is right in front of the hotel - the staff are just superb - they were informative, helpful and good humored. One night there was a false alarm that woke us at 3am - when I went down to buy some water and sodas from their small pantry/store, the woman at the front desk said it was on the house which was so kind. Good location with proximity to soho/tribeca area and lower manhattan. Would happily stay there again - the only drawback is getting cabs there but the subway is a better option overall. Carpetting in the hallways is somewhat worn and the restaurant downstairs (a pizza/burger bar) has uneven service but that's not reason to stay away. There is an amazing italian restaurant just across the street....

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms may be quieter but I was on the 5th floor and heard virtually nothing from the str...
