Drove from Montreal to NYC for a short business and pleasure weekend accompanied by my wife. Amex Centurion card provided me with the reservation of this very central hotel which is ideally located between 54th and 6th Avenue - a walking distance to MoMA, Central Park as well as Broadway. What I definitely like about the hotel is the size of the rooms which are practically suites with a large and modernly furnished sitting area equipped with own TV and the bedroom with its own TV, not that you would want to spend your stay in a hotel room, I am just trying to be more informative for other future guests. another plus point is the large bathroom which is equipped with two showers and generally powerful ones too! what I don't like about the hotel is the dimly lit hallways as well as trays left on the floor for hours on!! especially when you see a hotel attendant passing by without paying attention to this matter. I also had the opportunity to dine at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant on the premise, and here is my other complaint: Please remember that patrons do not like to be seated in tight spots and do not like to see waiter's bums swiping your table in view of lack of passageway!! in other words one less table will not make that big of a difference and patrons as well as waiters will be much more at ease. By the way their wine sommelier is excellent as is their wine list. overall, I will return to the hotel in view of the location and price. But I will note be eating at the restaurant unless I see the changes done.

The location is superb in between Times Square and central Park. We upgraded to the executive room, well worth it for the views!! Also ate in the restaurant food was expensive but well worth it. Would certainly recommend.

Nice modem hotel and great location! Less than 5 mins walk to 5th Avenue, Times Square and Central Park. Subway station very near by. Room very big, clean and good amenities. Would highly recommend for your stay in NYC.

No point in trying to help you figure out what to see and do in New York or where to stay for that matter as there are so many choices and neighbourhoods, but we like the London NYC for its great midtown location, proximity to theaters, restaurants, the Park, museums etc, and its cool look and feel...its like a big boutique style hotel.

We usually take a "London Suite" which is a bedroom with a separate small living room. The furnishings are all a bit avant garde by our standards but very functional. The bathroom has a double ended shower separated from the sink area by sheets of opaque glass - cool again.

There is a Gordon Ramsey restaurant off the lobby that is great for breakfast lunch dinner or drinks (nice bar), and we've eaten lots of meals there and enjoyed them all....there are so many good restaurants nearby it makes choosing difficult.

If you plan to be in NYC for business or pleasure and need to be in midtown, I recommend the London NYC.

Room Tip: don't pay more for a view unless you've never seen the park before...

I stayed here last year for a weekend and it was amazing! It reminded me of the top notch modern hotels I've stayed at in Vegas. Great views of the city - extremely large luxury suite - everything immaculately furnished. The bed was soft and supremely comfortable and the amenities were very nice - complete with a cozy robe, ihome, and top of the line toiletries. We enjoyed a great night's rest throughout our stay and the hotel staff were courteous and helpful - including the bell hop and those at the front desk.

And if that's not enough, a popular boy band checked in while we were there and seeing their dedicated fans right outside the hotel whenever we left, definitely made us realize we picked a top hotel. For a brief moment in time we got a taste of celebrity life - albeit a very brief moment!

Oh and the hotel bar was just as great - the wines we had were of great quality and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. I was unfamiliar with the hotel previously but will make a point to stay there again should I return to NY.

We have tried many hotels in NYC but the London is by far our favorite! It is the only place we place we stay now when we visit NYC. The rooms are unbelievable and roomy. The staff is top notch and extremely helpful. Any problem that we have experienced has been corrected immediately. The front desk staff is pleasant, friendly and go to the extreme to honor our request. The doormen are extremely helpful and well informed. I love the fact that at least one of them has been there for the last eight years that we have visited. The London NYC is one of our favorite reasons to visit NYC.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a double shower and a higher floor.
