I stayed in a 2bdrm suite with friends for a birthday celebration. Naturally, the location is great - a quick walk to Central Park, close to but far enough away from Times Square, and a block from Subway stations with the N, Q, R, and E (which will take you right to Penn Station).

The suites are incredibly spacious for NY standards, with a shower large enough to do shuttle runs between showerheads. Exceptionally soft Fili d'Oro linens make any night's sleep beautiful. But what I really want to talk about is the fitness center - amazing! Plenty of cardio equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes), nautilus machines, dumbbells, bench and not so standard (but thoroughly appreciated) ballet bar, weighted balls, tension bands, weighted bars, bosu ball, mats for stretching and the creme de la creme - a Kinesis fitness wall. Big fan! Very impressed with the square footage spent on fitness here.

Room Tip: Not all 2 bedrooms suites are the same. I would avoid the ones on the corners, as they are more disjointed.

Love the London NYC. Have stayed here several times and is always a great experience.
Love the Gordon Ramsey restaurant located in Hotel. Great location. Convenient to shopping, Rockefeller Center, Broadway shows. Big, spacious rooms. My favorite place to stay in New York!

My husband, I and 4.5 yr old child stayed at The London over Memorial Day wknd. We'd recommend this hotel and would stay here as our little threesome again. A few small points, while wifi internet is free (a nice perk!), there was a $50 per day charge for the rollaway bed for our little one, which seemed high. However, the rollaway is actually a nice little bed and better than most rollaways. Also, we used the babysitter service through the hotel ($30 per hr/4 hr minimum) quite successfully for two evenings out and would do that again. Overall, at this price ($329 per night base rate + about $55 per day city/state taxes), you'd be hard pressed to find a suite in midtown and especially at this quality of accommodations.

Room Tip: Try for higher floor to help mitigate street noise. We were floor 31 and it was not a problem at all.

We have stayed here many times and really appreciate the high quality service in all aspects of the hotel. The rooms are large and very quiet, the beds extremely comfortable and the location is convenient to Central Park and UES shopping. How can you go wrong?

Room Tip: The higher floors on the north corners provide great views of Central Park.

The London was a perfect spot for my family and I on a recent trip to Manhattan - spacious rooms, centrally located with friendly staff. We stayed in a Visa suite and appreciated the separate bedroom and living room.

Room Tip: Vista suite was super!
