“Family style- great food- interesting photo history of local baseball heroes”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We happened on this place and loved it. The grilled food is the best. Quantities are generous, so order to share or plan to take home what you can't finish. A counter next to the open-view kitchen is a take-out line, so locals come by here on their way home for some authentic take-out. Kind of a raucous local family scene that is fun to watch. Very friendly. A tiny bar is in a separate room near the entrance. Most people around you are speaking in Spanish. Don't miss all of the signed historic photos of baseball heroes that cover the walls. Take a wall tour on the way to the restrooms.

“Dominican Rest. that's worth a try”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

I was really looking forward to dining here after reading the restaurant's rating. I've been eating Dominican food for 24 years now and know when it's good. I had chicharron de pollo sin hueso and it came in small bite size pieces that a bird could handle and it was overfried. The maduros were delicious and one friend had the chuletas criolla which he said was good. We ordered salads with avocado and when they didn't arrive we reminded them and it still came incorrect. One friend ordered a malibu with orange juice and the orange juice quality wasn't top grade so it ruined the drink. The employees were warm, friendly and professional. The decor is nice and we also noticed a group of policemen dining there. I would try them again but won't order the same thing.

“Consistant Caridad”
Reviewed October 22, 2006

Upscale food at low-scale prices. Fresh ingredients are offered time after time at this Latin/Carribean Restaraunt. Authentic recipes and flavorful foods fill your plate and palate time after time. Grilled specialties, rice dishes, and meats of all types are prepared with care by a staff which is always excited to see you.
Great take-out and delivery too.........
