Never go to chain restaurants in NYC. That is the unwritten rule of New Yorker's and Olive Garden is no exception. You'll see New Yorkers in there for lunch or New Yorkers from other boroughs in there but we usually don't go. The service is slow, the food is usually not cooked. Many times I've gone (for lunch and/or business meetings with people from out of town), I've seen evidence that my food was previously flash frozen. It is not fresh. I do love their Zuppa Toscana and Break Sticks but that's as far as I go.
