I live near here and go through the Plaza almost daily so I get to enjoy it w
even if I don't go to a performance. Its always full of surprises.

From Opera to Dance to Theater and Music, Lincoln center has it all. The new renovation of the plaza and adjoining spaces is dynamic - a must for opera lovers, theater lovers and the like. Always something happening!

So much to see and do in this classy yet funky area. Time Warner Center, Lincoln Center, Beacon Theater, Central Park, Trump Hotel, Jean Georges, Bolud Sud, etc.

On November 26th we went to the Tree lighting ceremony at Dante park in Linclon Square. It is a fantastic evening. At the park Suzanne vega sang a few songs and then at 6:50 the show went live on TV. After the tree is lit, there are bands and activities as well as special store events and food tastings from local restaurants. It starts at 5 and goes until 8 or 9. Everything is free accept the food. An example of the foods available were BBQ sliders, ice cream, brownies, warm apple pie, soups and taco chips with guacamole. All foods are in the $2-4.00 range. You stroll and eat and just get completely immersed in a city like no other! You should also check out the fountain in front of Lincoln center. It is quite beautiful to behold as it shimmers in the plaza. It is a great place for a family picture..There is also a pop up village at Columbus Circle.
