Prior to a trip to NYC in October, I called the Front Desk Manager of the New York - Hilton and asked if there were any reports of bed bugs. I was told that there were absolutely no claims and that the hotel is completely free of bed bugs.
I am returning to NYC in December and again have a reservation at the NYC - Hilton on Ave of the Americas.
I just referred to a web site - bedbugregistry.com, looked up the NYC - Hilton and to my great dismay found numerous postings of bed bug issues.
I called the Front Desk Manager, Mamood, on November 7 and asked him why either he or his colleague, lied to me about bed bug reports when I called prior to my recent stay. He claimed that some of the reports of bites are food allergies. I then asked him if all of the reports on this web site were false and he said that he couldn't say that there were no bed bugs. Hence, I was LIED to by the staff at the NYC - Hilton and I am a Diamond member staying 75 or more nights per year at Hilton properties.
Does any one want to make a bet on whether or not I keep my December reservation? Secondly, does anyone want to wager on my future loyalty to Hiltons?More
