Buddakan is a very cool and trendy restaurant. We had to wait in the lounge area before our table was ready. How they managed to find the right people waiting, in the large crowd, was amazing.

The restaurant is large, with high ceilings and cool interior. Unfortunately we got a table that was a bit hidden away, next to the restrooms. The music is quite loud so it is difficult to follow the conversation.

The food, however was amazing. I ate a tuna apertizer wich was very good. For the main course we ordered several courses to be shared between us. The Black Pepper Beef is one of the best dishes I have ever had. Yummy! We did not try the dessert, as we ate too much for dinner :-).

A very cool place to go with friends, but maybe not on a date (if you don't just want to sit and stare at eachother) as the music is so loud. Also a cool place to visit just to have a drink in the lounge.

We found the portions small, the marvelled rock shrimp we didn't think were fantastic, they had kind of a mayonaisy taste to it, ribs were great

They open for dinner only. Great place, one of a kind experience. Order the Lobster Egg Rolls from their Dim Sum menu. For a variety of appetizers do their Bo Bo Plate 3 or 4 different hot appetizers, really good.
Their Peking Duck is magical, they have great noodle dishes, fried rices and all the wonderful stuff that makes up Chinese food. Super desserts dont miss them.Great staff and service.

If you like trendy mega bar feel, if you are willing to wait in the lounge area for at least 15 minutes WITH a reservation, if you are OK with laud dance music - you are in for one hell of a night. This one is here to dazzle your eyes.

The food is wonderful. You can find more sophisticated dishes around the city, but only few will be that fun and so reasonably priced.
The service is a silver bullet. Probably the best in NYC.

Certainly not for everyone but if you play by their rules you'll have a night to remember.

This is a great place for a group, out of town guests love it. The food is very easy to share, which is why I would recommend going there with a group. But the menu is also very varied, the meat and potatoes crowd can hang with the vegetarians and everyone is satisified. My only negative is that it can be very LOUD at times. This is not the place to take your grandparents for dinner.
