We hadn't been to N.Y. and Kellari for a few years, however our memory of the last experience was so good we knew a return was a must. And, Kellari did not dissapoint. The greeting with a smile and huge welcome makes you feel at home. The ambience is very nice and refreshing.
We enjoyed the very fresh Halibut Ala Polita accompanied by a bottle of Adam Pinot Gri and desert was a sweet Irish Coffee.
Jose was our sever and he looked after the table in a very professional manner, good timing no over-load.

When in New York this place is a must visit. A very easy stroll to Theatres and Times Square. Easy walk to Grand Central too.

Fresh Greek/Mediterranean farm to table food can be expected. I love Kellari.

We went on a Sunday evening and left a little disappointed as it wasn't as good as it should have been. Plus the service was pretty slow even though it wasn't too crowded.

We wanted to share a whole fish but they didn't have anything in the size range that could have work for us. The fish we wanted were either too large for 2 or too small so we ended up ordering our own dishes.

We shared a Greek salad (looked better than it tasted). Some of the cucumbers served were not fresh. The highlight was the grilled octopus but they could have given you a little more for what they charged. We did have a whole Lavraki however it was a little over cooked and dry.

Perhaps we caught them on an off night.

I was hosted here this week for business. The seafood is wonderful and quite fresh. (They also do a lot of pre-theater dining with listed specials before going to broadway.)

It was a great treat, even though we were not going to a show and going after business. The fresh fish were well displayed and the Greek salad was well done and authentic. The service was warm and friendly. I should have tried the baklava but the fish was filling. I was casually dressed and my companions were dressed for business- not a problem.

GO!

I think they have to specialize in seafood, it is beyond fresh! The scallops, oysters and fish were all prepared perfectly. Was a nice experience.

The manager/owner was very nice and table touched couple of times.
