Eight of us had a birthday dinner celebration on Friday night at Morimoto. The restaurant itself is quite large on two floors decorated with a very modern urban theme. Before dining we had cocktails at the bar, the drinks were reasonable priced for Manhattan, the selections were interesting although not unique.
Everyone at the table had three courses some of the appetizers were excellent, the crab legs and others the "iron chef ramen noodles" not so much. The entrees at the table were all good with only the Filets being talked about as "AWESOME"
All and all it was a good meal and a fun night out. However, it isn't going to make my list of best in the city.
