What a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff. Nice, clean interior. Excellent food. Fast, attentive service. I had the Up Thai Fried Rice Clay Pot. Chicken, shrimp and scallops is a sweet dark sauce over fried rice. The best clay pot I’ve had at any Thai Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Great food and cocktails. We had no reservation, waited about 30 minutes - had a drink next door to pass the time. Food is fresh and delish, really enjoyed the vibe and left very very full.

Comfortable place. Staff is super friendly. Menu is extensive. And yes ,THEY HAVE GINGER BEER

My meal was perfect in every way, and very reasonably priced. Definitely will return again, this place is a real gem!

I walked in to see many people waiting out the front to dine in. I was by myself so I quickly got a table at the bar. For people in a group, I’d strongly advise a reservation. Otherwise you probably will not find an available table in the evening. They have a fantastic bar with numerous drinks available, I ordered the massaman curry and it was absolutely beautiful. It was if I was eating it again in Thailand. I would strongly recommend this restaurant, just make sure to book ahead. It’s worth it.

Up Thai had some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We were a group of 4 and we've eaten our fair share of Thai food and we all said that Up Thai was at the top of our list if not the best Thai food we've eaten. The Chef special fried rice was amazing! It wasn't dry like other fried rice and had somewhat of a sauce on it that was SO good!! Next time I'm back in NYC I have to eat there!
