Executive Chef David Arias serves up regional dishes featuring ten varieties of handmade pasta, a selection of shared-plates, and an approachable six-course chef's tasting menu. “Perfectly fine.”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Went here because it's attached to the Blakely Hotel, where we were staying. It was fine. High marks for attentive service. I thought the food, while tasty, was nothing out of the ordinary.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Ordered breakfast full menu. Chocolate French toast with marscapone cream and ricotta pancakes with blueberries. The French toast was good but I did not get the addl chocolate on top per my request. I am sure so much better. The marscapone cream was delicious. The ricotta pancakes very good. They do put blueberry topping on one pancake FYI. Coffee very strong, very nice for breakfast.

“horrible experience”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

While on our trip to New York city we decided to dine at a restaurant we thought would be good. We arrived around 7 or so after calling earlier that day and being told a reservation would not be necessary. We were informed when we arrived that they were full and we would not be able to get a table until 930. We were disappointed but understood and made a reservation for later on that evening. when we arrived they were ready for us and seated us quickly. We were offered the menu and ddecided on the Price fix dinner. When we ordered my wife decided on a glass of wine( 12.00) on the menu and i did not see a beer I wanted so the waiter suggested a beer that would taste "similar" to the beer i would have ordered. When my beer and my wifes wine arrived, we were disappointed. Her wine was in a tiny wine glass with no more than 2 ounces and the beer tasted nothing like the waiter saaid it would. our appetizers arrived and we were fine with those, but then the waiting game started.. 45 minutes later i asked the waiter where our entree was and he checked and said a couple more minutes. All the while the people around us who ordered more alcohol than we did were getting their food in a more timely fashion, and our waiter seemed much more attentive to. After an additional 10 minutes i asked for the bill and decided to dine elsewhere. The waiter presented us with a bill for 44.00, which sjowed full price for the appetizers not the price fix price. we were so upset i demanded they honor the set price fix price as i had not planned on only dining on appetizers and would now have to find another place to eat at 1030 at night. they didnt seem to care so we paid and left and would not recomment this place to anyone ever!!

“Disgusting saltimbocca”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

Having ordered Saltombocca alla Romana - veal, sage, prosciutto and white wine or vino di marsala - neither of us expected slices of lemon to be included ( obliterating any other flavours ) or for the dish to be served under a nearly-black sauce more akin to packet gravy. Should have sent it back, but wimped out and tried to appreciate the chef's variation on a classic theme. Poor service, over-priced, never again ! Should have been wary following the nicely-cooked but over-seasoned scallops
