My third time here and the same impression, very good but not great. I will start with the positives: i love the lighting, just dark enough, you can still read the menu and the lights are soft. Very comfortable sitting and a good size table. Music was a little annoying, screechy jazz track, they could go with something a little more smooth. Wine list - well, everything is 300-400% markup. Too much french and not enough Napa or Italian or Chilean. Need a little more balance and a litle more Cabs in a steakhouse. Now, the food was good but i dont think i will go there again to eat steak. Our steaks were too seared an I ended up cutting the burned crunchy outside off. Their burners are too hot. Even my side of mushrooms was too burned. Asparagus was very good. Bacon appetizer was burned a little as well and it was not tasty at all. I did enjoy the desert, Apple Cobbler was excellent. Finally, very good service, I only wish they would have fewer people trolling the isle and trying to take your plate away.
