“Why the Duct Tape?”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

We had 6 sushi rolls which were great, probably some of the best I've had in NYC! However, it was kind of weird that the prices for the cut rolls were anywhere from $1 to $4 more, just to have them cut into pieces. Also, for such a nice, expensive restaurant, it was kind of weird that our booth was ripped and being held together by duct tape...I mean really?

“Lunch @ Nobu 57 w/ Best NYC Waiter”
Reviewed May 31, 2014 via mobile

Not only was the food fantastic but our server, Tom, was the best waiter we have ever encountered - and we're old !!! If you love sushi this is hands down the best food ever. Be sure and ask for Tim who personally chose every dish for us based on our taste. He asked us a few smart questions such as raw or cooked, hot and spicy then proceeded to bring us course after course of cold and hot dishes. Will return for sure !!!

“Service distracted”
Reviewed May 30, 2014 via mobile

You can do better! Corporate eatery, huge noisy space, interior looks cheap. Sushi not bad, but nothing you can't get anywhere in NYC. Waiter haphazard, overcharged us, $104 for 24 oz of house saki?

“Excellent dining”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

When we reached the place, we were wondering what to eat . Wish i remember the name of the guy who helped us. While we were browsing the menu , i said we are pure vegetarians. He just said - "Ma'am , leave it on me ." I ate th best food ever . Different variety and great taste. Few dishes to eat if you are a vegetarian -
1. Tofu new style
2.Kamameshi shitake
3. Tomato Ceviche
4.Taco Vegetable

“Classic”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

A classic restaurant to eat, to see people and being viewed by other people. Food, as always, amazing. Don't loose the codfish and the sushis.
