“Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

I chose Top of the Rock so I could have the Empire State Building in my pics. It was very organized and quick paced. The Sun & Stars package is a must! It is crowded at the top at times so patience is a must. I've already purchased tickets online for my next trip.

“"best view in town"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

This has the best view. The views of Empire state building and central park are great. They also have a person taking pictures on the very top. It is windy . Go early the later in the day the busier it gets.

“Great Views with an Assigned Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

Great views of downtown and the park from on top of Rockefeller Center. You can see the one thing you can't see from the Empire State Building ... the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building has notoriously long lines where you will wait up to 3 to 4 hours at times. The Top of the Rock provides you with an assigned time to go to the observation deck so the waiting time is minimal; be right on time though, because if you come early they will not let you up early. God only knows what happens if you show up late. If I remember correctly it was also cheaper than the Empire State Building tickets.

“Breathtaking Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

The Top of the Rock is a must see when visiting New York City.
Try all 3 levels and take as many pictures as you can.
The views are amazing........to the South you have the Empire State Building and the new World Tower
To the North you have Central park laid out before you.
I would suggest going so that you can view the sunset, but, that is a rather crowded time to be ther. Get there early...and stake out a spot on the West side of the deck and wait for the sun to make the sky beautiful.
And one other treat.....enjoy the ride up and down in the elevator...with the disappearing roof and lights in the shaftway......fun to video!!!

“over rated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

This place is over rated and over priced - the views are hindered by reflective glass making snap shot photography difficult. The cocktail bar was closed which was very disappointing and I hate the queue's to have compulsory photo's taken - very annoying.
