The views are amazing and much better than the Empire State building as you can see the Empire State and have a better view of Central Park! Wrap up warm though!!

“Timing is everything”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

We went to see New York from above at dusk. Great plan, poor execution. If this is your goal be sure to get to Rockefeller Center at least an hour before. The line for tickets ($25/adult) took at least 20 minutes. We began our journey toward the elevator about 20 minutes later, but don't be fooled, you're not there yet. Once your group goes to the elevators you get into a large room where you get into 3 groups to pre-stage for ride up to the top (this takes another 20-25 minutes. The elevator is crowded but visually impressive. Now for the real fun. The 70th floor was closed due to high winds but that was ok. We had access to the 67th and 69th floors. We were on top of the world. The views are spectacular! Much of it was outside with large free standing glass panes. Pictures were not easy to take without reflections. Make sure you wear warm clothes if you're going to be up there on a cold day. It was brutal but worth it.

“Do it Once”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

Great views of the city day or night. Worth going if you are from out of town. Long lines but they moved quickly. The photograph option was confusing as you did not actually receive a photo, but an email with a photo. To receive the physical photo it was significantly more expensive that what was offered when you purchased the ticket. Not much to do once you're up there besides look out so if you get bored quickly, it may not be worth the money!

“magnificient view”

the fact that one is on top of the building with nothing to obstruct the panorama gives a truly good feeling of the vastness of the city.
