Upscale Japanese fare is given a jolt of new life through an innovative use of ingredients, resulting in refreshing and exciting flavor combinations. Crispy Rice with Spice Tuna, an addictive version of the classic spicy tuna roll, featuring warm grilled rice topped with a thick layer of cool, savory tuna. Baked Crab Roll, for which succulent fresh crab meat is wrapped in a thin rice paper dotted with sesame seeds and baked to perfection. Hamachi Fusion with Soy-Citrus and Truffle Essence all artfully plated by Koi’s skilled culinary team.

Ate here yesterday with a bunch of girlfriends and it was awesome! Our server Kayla was a sweetheart and very helpful with recommendations. We ordered quite a few plates to share. Started with the vegetable tempura, hamachi and sea bass (among other things!) everything was outstanding. We continued with several signature rolls which were all delicious. We shared everything and some first time sushi eaters are now hooked! We ended up with dessert (creme brulee and a brownie sundae) delicious. The atmosphere is really cool, the service was great and the food was delicious. I couldn't afford to dine here regularly but it was perfect for a special girls lunch!

The quality of the fish was below a standard I would expect in a restaurant of this level. The atmosphere was fine but the food, service, and experience wasn't that great and I wouldn't waste my money on this again.

We were recommended to eat here for the best sushi in NYC and weren't disappointed. The staff were great, the food was even better, our waitress was super-helpful with what to eat. The lychee cocktails were to die for and the black cod was superb. Beware the wasabi, it looks like a lump of avocado, is extremely hot and if you ate that like avocado you'd probably end up in hospital. Maybe a bit more expensive than other places but well worth it. We were there quite early (6pmish) so there wasn't much atmosphere, I'm sure there would have been later with more people. The decor was very nice and the seating was comfortable. A definite 'returner'.
