Very attentive staff. I had the Florida Snapper and it was great. My wife had the mussels, very good too. The menu has a southwestern flare to it. The staff is very mindful if you have to make it to a show.

How cool is Bobby Flay and how good is Bar Americain? When the Greyson Foundation/Jockey Club and Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation wanted to present its prestigious Earle Mack Thoroughbred Champion Award Thursday evening, June 6, at the most coveted pre-race party in Manhattan, the Belmont Stakes Charity Celebration, they chose Flay for both. Featuring the 'Foods of Bobby Flay,' ranging from classic sliders to exotic seafood 'shots,' and specialty themed drinks such as the Keeneland Breeze, Photo Finish, and The Giddy-Up, 200 of the most thoroughly-bred investors, trainers, jockeys and leaders in the racing industry flourished under Flay's flair for the fete. In accepting his award, Flay also spoke up for the equine athletes who make horse racing the sport of kings, urging everyone to embrace the responsibility of ownership throughout a horse's life and to increase their commitment to assuring each race horse, at retirement, has a second career and forever home. Now THAT'S 'just dessert,' I thought, covering the event for TodaysEquestrian.com.

Went here with colleagues on sales trip & enjoyed the food. I've not eaten in a Bobby Flay restaurant before & was interested to see what the food was like.
Had the mixed seafood taster to start & the crab & coconut was the best element. Had a perfectly cooked & very tasty New York strip for my main course.
I wasn't wowed by the place, but the food was very good.

We had a wonderful server who helped us pick great appetizers and meals, the Snapper Florida style was tasty and perfectly seasoned, the Mussels were in a green chile broth that was very tasty. The hot potato chips with blue cheese dip were awesome. Ill come back to this restaurant next time I am in town.

Greeters were VERY VERY Rude. We were "casually" dressed and were given very rude looks. Then suggested another restaurant that "was a little less formal". Although there were men coming in with jeans on!! We were "smart casual dressed" no flip flops, jeans, shorts. We were 4 women in our 60"s - not kids. Will NEVER go back. Jimmy Flay should be ashamed.
