Talk about a good old fashioned record store that surprisingly has a prime spot in Times Square. We happened upon Colony while walking around seeing the sights and it was enjoyable to see all the old 33 and 45 albums. Funny enough, they did actually have some newer albums and my teenager was shocked to see such a site especially since all he really knows about are Itunes downloads! They had alot of memorabilia and and extremely large volume of sheet music---an instrumental and voice music lovers paradise! Staff was very friendly and helpful and music is organized neatly by composer, artist, genre, etc. Definitely worth a stop in if you are a lover of music whether you just listen or also sing or play!
