Upon entering the restaurant you feel that you are in an old Italian villa overlooking the Mediterranean through balcony windows and terrace. The restaurant was created and designed by Chef Pasquale and painted by Italian artist Davide Rodoquino. We offer live piano music every evening.

“Step back in time”

We went to this restuarant based on reviews. We were greeted immediately and continued to get great service. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. I thought the restaurant had not changed in decor probably since it opened but that was okay. The food was good, though very traditional but the wine was very expensive. Overall the meal was quite expensive.

“Cute little restaurant. ”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant was right next door to the theater where we watch the Book of Mormon. We wanted Italian and it was close by so we went downstairs to the basement where the restaurant is located. It is a very small narrow restaurant. The table we were sitting in was cozy, next to the piano player who was very good. The food and drinks were good and we had a good time.

“Words Cannot Express”

Arrived 45 min early and had a nice drink at the bar. Warm reception, great atmosphere, perfect pre-show location.
We were with another couple. They sat us next the piano. The performer was excellent. We asked the server to serve us family style. He chose an appetizer, salad, pasta, and meats for us to share. The food and wine were outstanding. I am coming back for more with the kids next time.

“Completely by Chance!”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Went for dessert and drinks after watching a Broadway show across the street. Immediately
upon entering the restaurant we were welcomed with such energy and warmth...as if we were part of the family.

Complimentary sparkling wine served at our table and waiter helpful with the dessert selection. There was singing of songs...both English and Italian. They passed around maracas (shakers) for customers to participate in the entertainment.

The tiramisu was fantastic! Probably one of the best we have had to date. Turned out to be one of our favourite nights in NYC. Thanks for the memories!

“Amazing Atmosphere and Hospitality”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Let me first start off by stating that the reason my visit to Da Marino is one of the best meals I've ever had is due to the circumstances. I proposed to my fiance during my dinner. (She said yes of course!! : ) However, the food is very good and is reasonably priced. What stands out about Da Marino, and what made me choose it as the proposal site, is the atmosphere and hospitality. As is evident with the photo on this website, Da Marino has a beautiful garden-like entrance. Inside it is equally as decorated and includes various plants, paintings, and fountains. It also boasts one of the nicest bathrooms I've yet to ever encounter in a restaurant. Combine that with live music and excellent hospitality (our server took photos of me proposing without even being given a heads up) and Da Marino is a must visit for all.
