Owner description: The Official NYC Information Center in Times Square provides visitors with guides, maps, pamphlets, brochures, coupons and discounts pertaining to all there is to do and see in the City, with a bilingual staff available for further guidance. Located on Broadway Plaza between 44th and 45th Streets, the center is convenient to many Midtown attractions, and it is also at the intersection of many subway stops, enabling you to hop on a train and head just about anywhere after picking up all the info you need about the five boroughs.

“Very Helpful”
Reviewed September 21, 2013 via mobile

I received friendly, helpful service and was in and out quickly. I picked a map and a suggestion and was on my way in less than 5 minutes.

“Find Your Way Around Town from a Local”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

The renovated Visitor Information Center looks more like an Apple Store than a government office. They have 3 large touch screen table tops that implore Google Maps to show you what attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites are where. Using a coaster you can load all of this information on to a giant fly-over screen or have printed with valuable coupons or even have it sent to your mobile device. There are also a wide range of flyers and brochures you can take with you and you can pre-purchase tickets to some attractions. The best part? There is a local New Yorker there to help you...a friendly smiling face to give you all of the guidance you might need before heading back out to the hustle and bustle of the busy NYC streets.

“Worth Popping In”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

If you are in Times Square, this is a great place to pick up information brochures. It also has public bathrooms (without a wait, the two times we popped in), which is a huge feature in NYC! We didn't spend too much time looking at the historical displays, but we did enjoy writing our New Year's wishes on confetti. It will make next year's New Year's Eve ball drop on television that much more special, knowing that our confetti is a part of the big event.

Free Internet service and friendly helpful staff.

“It was OK, not that helpful”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

I went to the visitor center to get some info and help. The guy that helped me seemed to be bored with his job and the answers i got were merely ok. I don't feel I got all the info I wanted, but I found it in other ways...
