I had been waiting a long time to see an ABT performance during a trip to NYC, and their production of Swan Lake was breathtaking. My only regret was having to get my ticket so last minute that I had to choose a box seat with a "partial view". Even this did not really damper the experience. Beautiful dancers in such a grand setting with a glass of sparkling wine on the terrace before the show = a perfect evening.

We went to see the ABT put on a performance of Le Corsaire, a light-hearted ballet, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. To get to the opera house you need to cross a concrete covered square which features a spectacular fountain that attracts lots of small kids. The opera house is worth a visit by itself and I particularly liked the free water fountain in the lobby. ABT has some great dancers and the performance was well worth the money.

Summer performance in the Metropolitan Opera House. We saw Firebird and Dream -- dancing was exquisite and the sets and costumes wonderful. It's so worth the cost to go see this premier ballet.

I could see this ballet every other month at ABT and still want to see it again. Amazing orchestra and beautiful dancing - in such an incredible setting. Something I will never forget!

The theatre and Giselle are as excellent as you hope they will be. In the balconies the angle is so steep even your 4' tall guests will be able to see over other people. Our knees are even with their heads. Surprise! There is a resturaunt with fabulous views as part of the reception/intermission area. You finish dinner and walk 50 feet to your seat. Double surprise: you can pre-order a dessert to be ready for you there at intermission. Impress your kids, dates, colleages, friends, family with your inside knowledge of how to do things right in NYC by pre-ordering reserved seating desserts at the Met.
