Lots of positive things about this place....the service is excellent; the food (we had an order of guacamole and the fish/shrimp tacos) is very good and reasonably priced; and, the wine is a bargain! We ate there at about 8:15 p.m. on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait for a table....another plus.

Good and healthy natural food. Portions are ample. Only problem is coffee is often too cold. They have a nice Sunday breakfast. I recommend the waffles.

Totally unpretentious restaurant with great service and food to match at a reasonable price. It's an oasis from the chaos outside. Looking forward to going back.

This place has been around for a long time, albeit at a different location, but it's always an affordable place to get lunch or dinner if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan fare. They do serve fish, too, if you insist on animal protein.

Trying to decide on a place for dinner, we came up with 3 choices: Thai, Tapas or Vegetarian. We chose The Quantum Leap and sort of wished we hadn't. There was a wait of about 20 minutes when we arrived but the weather was great so we stood outside and they called us when a table was available. The menu has a wide variety of options, so we ordered hummus and pita bread while we made our decisions. The hummus turned out to be the worst we've ever tasted and the thin, limp pita wasn't great either. Unfortunately this sort of set the tone for the rest of the meal. While waiting we noticed the scent of a toilet and low and behold it turns out, it was situated right behind us. Every time the door was opened (and it opened a lot) we were hit in the face with the smell. For dinner hubby ordered The Big Leap Bowl, I got the Japanese Box and son got the Flounder. Hubby ate all of his and said it was okay. Mine was quite large and included soba noodles and sauce (supposed to be like zaru soba, I guess), salad, dumplings, edamame and tempura vegetables (one of which was celery!). Again, everything was just okay. Son didn't like his, but ate the fish and some of the rice. The decor isn't anything to write home about, but the service was great and both our servers were friendly and professional. I don't think we'll go back,
but give it a try and see for yourself. Just don't sit in the back near the toilet or order the hummus.
