Went specifically because we wanted osetra caviar (lots of it) and interesting vodkas. The garlic-and-dill-infused was good, but the horseradish-infused was the best! The caviar is expensive, of course, but much better value for money than any other Russian place in Midtown - perhaps because the RVR isn't trying to revert to Tsarist decor? Menu heavy on Russian staples (salt, fat, carbs) but the atmosphere makes you not care that the only green thing all evening was four slices of cucumber!
