We had lunch here between meetings nearby and enjoyed everything greatly. The location, the view of the sculpture garden and of course especially the food. The set menu gives a lot of choices and each course was better than the other. Especially the fish, but also the filet dishes! Excellent. Including the staff.

We had a reservation for the Bar Room at MOMA and it was out of this world. We had the three course option with the wine pairing added on. It was absolutely one of the best meals I have eaten. And I don't say that lightly. Lots of choice and the warm out of the oven individual rolls were heaven on a plate. So unusual. The service was attentive and exceptional and despite the chairs being a bit uncomfortable, and tables close together, it was after all the Bar and as regal as they could make it. However, the food and service and wine more than made up for it!! We both had the cheese plate for dessert and the port wine hit the spot. The scallops were so so wonderful. Highly recommend and next time we will try to eat in the main dining room and book farther ahead. But would definitely eat at the Bar Room again!! Don't miss this gem of a restaurant. Loved it!!!

We booked here to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. We were greeted with wishes by both front of house and by our waiter, with a lovely touch of a little cake and candle for each occasion, making us feel welcomed.
The food was absolutely delicious and well presented, we also had the wine pairings which were perfect matches.
The atmosphere is quite vibrant which was a nice change to a quiet restaurant.
Overall, thank you to everyone who made our celebratory meal very special. A wonderful day and shame we live in the UK as I would definitely come back.

This 2-Michelin star restaurant does not disappoint. This is without question one of the best restaurants in the city. They have a main dining room and a bar area with different menus.
It was easy to get reservations for lunch at the main dining room They offer either a 3 course meal or a 6 course meal with a large selection of plates and 4 desserts to choose from. We selected the 3 course tasting menu with wine pairing, and were wowed by plates that were beautifully plated and well balanced. The cauliflower with crab and the aged duck breast with five spice sauce stood out. The wine pairings were spot on.
Service was extremely friendly and flawless. The pacing of the meal was perfect. All in all a memorable lunch at The Modern.

The food is quite good - service is truly uneven and often downright bad - but everything else is great - seems they have a problem with allocating staff to cover all the tables - if service were better I’d give em 5
