We caught the Magritte exhibit on the next to last day in the pouring rain and we just wanted a quick lunch. The cafes were mobbed, it was 2:45 and we got lucky. A table was just clearing in The Modern. The Regular Menu was still being served and it was wonderful. It was also my wife's birthday and the staff was so attentive. I had the Andalusian Soup, fantastic with chorizo and scallops, my wife had a gorgeous salad. We shared a dessert, with a candle, of course. The manager kept coming over to ask how we were enjoying our lunch. We will be back soon for a much more complete and wonderful dinner.
