Still love this place, the food is worth the cost and the trouble but recently wanted to pop in for a snack and one of those fabulous cilantro martinis and was told by the EXTREMELY disinterested wait staff that they are off the menu. Opening the huge bar menu I asked what martinis they did have and she pointed to something with boubon and maple syrup.... really? This person works at a bar? Never had the same waitperson twice during the hour or so I was there with my group and getting the gin and club soda replaced with the gin and tonic that we ordered was time consuming. Why? It wasn't crowded and now I know why. Too bad -- I loved this spot and recommended it to all who were heading to visit my old home town as a great experience. It just isn't any more, now it's just a showy spot with bad service.
Modern, I mourn thee.
