West of Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson River, you'll find Riverside Park, peaceful and landscaped with lots of flowers, trees and squirrels. People go there on the weekends with little kids, it's really beautiful and there is by far less people than in Central Park. Worth visiting.

Park stretches for several miles and sits right on the Hudson. Great views with walking paths and amenities from kids parks to bike paths all along the way. Amazing architecture in this new and hip part of town compliment the views. Great place to pass by on your way to and from or to make your destination for the day.

The venue inside the park offers a spectacular view of the City. Harold Dow's parties are legendary. Why have your own when you can attend one of his?

Riverside Park is large expanse of grass & trees in contiguity with the Hudson River and overlooking New Jersey. It is clean and lovely for those interested in hikes and exploration, as for those looking for their daily run in the park.

This linear Park is a gem of the Upper West Side. Time your visit to visit the Cathedral, Grants Tomb and Columbia University then walk south into the park and meander as far as you can go. Enjoy the walls, paths and linear vistas designed by Olmstead and take time to enjoy the views across the Hudson River into New Jersey. Take time to watch a soccer game and skate borders. Visit the monuments and enjoy lots of children and dogs all weekend. Great place to catch some sun when weather permits.
