Went to the New Amsterdam Theater to see Aladdin and enjoyed a great show. We went for a 2pm matinee showing on a sunny winter Sunday and had no wait upon entering the theater. Overall the theater is satisfactory; however the seats are a hit or a miss. We had mezzanine seats; but the one I had was a bit lopsided whereas the one my kid had was comfy.
Choose your seats wisely as these are not tiered on an incline so someone’s head will likely be blocking you in some way. Even though we both used numerous booster cushions to get a clear view of the stage – we’ll be going back not only because we enjoyed the show; but I want an unobstructed view of the stage. Again – great show; just choose your seats wisely.More
