“Worth a trip. Great value way to see the Manhattan Skyline & FDR Memorial”
Reviewed April 29, 2013 via mobile

We've taken guests several times across to Roosevelt Island on the Tram. It's a fun, active way to see Manhattan from the east side. Several times we've walked to the new FDR Memorial. Great when the Cherry Blossoms appear on Roosevelt Island

“Great views!”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Try and stand next a window so you get the best views! It costs the same as the charge of the subway and it last around 5 minutes, so enjoy it!

“Perfect views”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

For the cost of a subway trip you get great views over the east river and to manhattan. The car was busy and the trip is fast, so you don't have much time for photos, but we got some good ones. An unusual way to see the sights and good value for money. Highly recommend.

“Universal King Kong ride memories!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Remember the ride at Universal Studios Florida?. Well this is the reality!.
Well worth the trip and 20 min walk from FAO Schwarz, and only a few dollars. Not a lot to see at journeys end to be honest, but good to get a pic or two of it, and the skyline/river.

“Three stars for the chance to experience a tram ride in NYC for $2.75”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is one of the very few commuter aerial tramways in North America. If you or your kids have never taken a tram ride, this is a cheap ($2.75 each way) way to experience it. Honestly there is not much to see for the short rides and we did not stay at the island. (you do have to exit and pay again for the return ride) For the ultimate tram ride, ride the Matterhorn ski paradise tram to a altitude of 3883 meters in Switzerland.
