This venue is fantastic! Very spacious, lots of places to sit and you can see the stage from anywhere on the second floor. Fairly inexpensive, too!

Outdoor venues are always better; however, this is one of NY's best indoor spots. Usually a good balance of having a full room with room to maneuver--many great acts roll through.

Terminal 5 tends to have a good selection of live music, mostly in the alternative music genre. It seems to be a popular NYC tour stop for bands that aren't quite big enough to sell out a place like Radio City, much less an arena like MSG or Barclays. I give Terminal 5 props for the selection it offers. Otherwise, it is just OK, nothing special. I find that the best place to be (if you can't be right up front) is in the balcony area to either side of the stage - but if you get there too late, you won't get a spot right by the railing and won't be able to see much of anything. The sight lines are rather terrible in that regard. You really need to time your arrival to Terminal 5 just right in order to have a decent experience there - that is, get there before the opening act goes on, especially if it's a sell-out show!

Terminal 5 is a large enough venue that you can hang back and still see the stage. We had no problems with the staff. Drinks are a little pricey but that's to be expected. It has a second and third level to look down on everyone too. Guess it all depends on the show you're going to see, but we had a good time

Staff will treat you like human trash. I saw them deny people entry on baseless accusations and laugh as they walked away. The pat downs could constitute sexual harassment and once inside, don't bother asking anyone questions,......if you even get acknowledged their answers are short and inaudible. Trying to get service is like pulling teeth and when you do it's like being at a window at the DMV. Further more the floor under my seat was sticky like a cheap movie theater and the sound is even worse..........STAY AWAY!!!!
