Unfortunately, we never ate here (so much to do, so little time etc) but we did just go in while we were passing on our way to our hotel one evening. We sat at the bar and had a cocktail served by a very efficient, but not particularly friendly, female bartender. As we sipped our drinks, I was able to look around and noticed how lovely the restaurant is. There's a nice, elegant atmosphere and, reading other posts, it seems that the food's good too.

The decor is the tipoff, hearkening back to an earlier B'way era. Heavy on the cured meats, beef, vegetable antipasti, cheeses all served with reserve by a staff in white shirt tie and apron on a white-checkered-tile floor surrounded by dark woods. Booths have name plaques. It's theater district - the curtain awaits. Out in time, well-fed!

Located in Time Square it is a great central spot. Warm decor, great service, and fairly priced for NYC. The Bolognese is fabulous. The best I've ever had. The Antipasto is varied and very fresh. All and all a great meal.

We just got back from a weekend in NYC. Ate here 3 times. Margarita pizza, glass of proseco and awesome cheese cake with chocolate sauce. My 6 year declared this to be our restaurant. Awesome

We had dinner twice during our stay across the road in the new Hyatt Hotel. The house speciality of mozzarella was deliciously served with prosciutto and tomato, almost as good as in Europe. The Diver Scallops on a bed of Parmesan risotto was excellent. The ambience is very pleasant and not too noisy and the service from an Italian waiter was A1.
Prices are average but the menu is reasonably extensive.
