Saw Tom Petty here in May and was it great!! Nice, small venue that is easy to access. Multiple bars scattered about with little waiting. Yea, a beer is $9.50, but it is NYC. Enjoy!

This was our first visit to the theatre. It is part of the MSG group and has been fully restored. It is the most beautiful theatre I have ever been in and I have been to more than a few. The main doors opened promptly; interior doors somewhat later. We were in the 11th row, but the sight lines for all seats looked to be excellent. I strongly recommend you see a show here. Restaurants/Bars are close by and travel to the venue by subway is fairly convenient. Neighborhood felt very safe to us as well.

This might be the most beautiful theatre we have ever been in. Joe Bonamassa is probably one of the top five living guitar players. You need to listen to his music!

Went to see Diana Krall the other day in our trip to NYC. This theater is so big we literally could not see the faces of the performers or some of the instruments that were being played. We were a long way back upstairs and I was kicking myself for not bringing the opera glasses. It was so, so annoying. There were bits of film being shown on the screen behind her (I assume it was her) - if ever there was an argument for a live feed onto the screen so we could see what was happening, this was the time. Sound was good and that was one redeeming feature of the night. So be wary - take the glasses or you will not see much if you are at the back. The seats of these old theatres are also squeezy and this was the only reason we stood for the ovation - to stretch the legs. But I guess to be fair the concert was good and she performed well and introduced songs well but you can't lose the feeling that you have not got what you paid for so the grumpiness, regret, annoyance triumphs over the other positives, Also strangely no curtain, so as we took 20 minutes to get out of the theatre, we were entertained by road crews dismantling the props and equipment and yelling at each other. Nice.
