“This place Sux”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

We walked passed and thought it looked like a nice restaurant. Little did we know it was actually the only good thing about it. We sat down, were greeted by the waiter, all good and thats where the good stopped. Ordered dinner and wine, asked for a wine recommendation from the waiter....''I don't drink wine' was his response.....well I'll pick then. Meal we didn't order was delivered to us, which we sent back. We waited about 20 minutes for our wine to be delivered. The kids ate Pizza which was good, whilst we waited an hour for our mains. While we were waiting for the mains the kids plates now empty remained on the tabs whilst 4 waiters stood in the restaurant chatting. I wanted to photograph these twits standing there whilst no one in the restaurant was getting served. I thought about asking for the manager and complaining but as we hadn't yet eaten thought it would only end up with spit in our food. In the end Mains arrived which were OK, but by then the evening had been spoiled though waiters who didn't want to be there and didn't care....a dangerous combination. Learn from our mistake and don't go there are plenty of other nice places to eat in the area

“Great Lunch”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

We took a corner of the Bar by the street to people watch. The bartender made a couple of chilled martinis and we had a fun conversation with him and a luncheon regular. Had the house salads which had a nice light dressing and excellent cherry tomatoes and split the Chilean Sea Base entre. The Sea bass came over a bed of spinach and a superb lemon sauce. Excellent lunch, good conversation and a bit of people watching! Nice Stop

“Waiters really rude food ok.”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

Me and my fience were really shocked about this place. As you walk in it looks lovely. When my girlfriend ordered meatballs the waiter looked at her as if she was stupid and shook his head as if he was suprised and when i ordered my meatballs he did the same which we found very rude and rather unbelievable as we were ordering something off THEIR menue! We asked for some garlic bread and got it half way through our meal. Every time we had to ask for something seemed a real chore to these people. Will never go there again!

“You're better off eating from a pushcart on Broadway”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

We went as a holiday lunch. 6 people, which really isn't a crowd. It took 40 minutes to serve lunch. There was no update in the interim as to when we would get our food. The food was average. We tipped 15%, but the waiter came back asking why it was so little (people in "large" groups and during holiday season usually tip 20%, he claimed). We mentioned that 40 minutes is an awful long wait, and he blamed it on the half-chicken roast that one of us ordered. It was on the menu, so couldn't he have told us when ordering? Or 20 minutes later? Or 30 minutes later? And btw, a rotisserie at Boston Market is way better. We work in the building next door: rest assured we aren't coming back here!
