“Bravo to KD Lang, entire cast and fabulous band!”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

What a fun, lively, energetic show! The upbeat Duke Ellington numbers will keep your foot tapping, and the dance numbers and vocal harmonies will keep you smiling. What a thrill to hear KD Lang perform with the impeccable Lincoln Center band! Get tickets to this show and sweep the blues away!

“Great night”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

Such a lovely night with great dancing and beautiful voices. I loved the costumes the most. The 30s were my favorite time for clothing and the arts. It had some classics we all know plus some new ones. The performers look like they are having as much fun as we were. Your toes will definitely be tapping.

“If you like Jazz -- go”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

This is a wonderful show full of singing and dancing. It is based on Harlem in the 1930's. When we saw the show the special guest star was K.D. Lang. There is no intermission and the time zips by.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

As entertaining a show as I've seen anywhere in at least 20 years. I saw it with Dule Hill and Fantasia - both are gone from the cast. The dancing was stellar, the singing excellent, but the real stars of the show are the Jazz All Stars of Lincoln Center, the big band that's on stage the whole show. The songs are from the 30s and 40s, with the show premised as a mythical midnight show at the Cotton Club. The sons are connected with poetry by Langston Hughes. This is a wonderful show, worth every penny.
