Have to mention the very friendly stuff and the very reasonable prices! A usual place where you can spend your time after job or for a quick quality dinner. Steaks and burgers in very reasonable prices , depending on the area , and a huge variety of american ales! Not touristic place at all which is a great advantage !

I love "dive bars" and I will be hard-pressed to outdo this joint. One of the oldest bars in North America, with loads of history. The food was excellent. My burger was incredibly hot and juicy! The selection of beers on tap is small, well-thought-out, and diverse. The waitress was very sweet and provided us with excellent service. The publican was feisty, just as a fellow Northern Irishman should be!! Slainte!!

Very atmospheric pub which was packed when we went. Range of beers really good and service good too. Had food whilst we were there which was quite bland. Absolutely brilliant place for a drink but I think I'll leave the food next time.

If you are in lower Manhattan this is a great place to pop in for a beer. A lively crowd frequents the Ear Inn, with a good selection of drinks. For those who want a bit more, food is available at a very reasonable price. The staff are really friendly and eager to talk if you are from out of town. The night we visited there was live music although it didn't start until after midnight.

Went here for the first time today and really liked it. Had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with home fries and small salad. Everything was excellent and prices are good too.
Service could've been a little quicker. The restaurant was not busy and we had to flag down the waitress for drink refills and the check. Otherwise, the story of the building is an interesting one, going way back to Revolutionary War times.
