I left in a great mood due to the wonderful ambiance of this place. The singer/pianist had a flutist there, doing everything from jazz standards, Edith Piaf, to all kinds of things that people liked. We weren't indifferent spectators but instead really enjoyed the music. It was refreshing to go somewhere where people stopped to listen to it, rather than being like an afterthought, ignored and in the background.
The portions were large--we had excellent salmon from the prix fixe menu, followed by a very good chocolate mousse cake. They let us take our time and stay there a long time, even though when we first went in we said we were just ordering something small. The wait staff was attentive and didn't pressure us. I don't know whether they do brunches or delivery but we ate there late at night and left at midnight. I don't know if I'd have felt the same way without the music there. (Fri. 8/11/12)
