My company hoteled me around the corner at the Hudson since the storm stranded me in Manhattan. After an odyssey involving Penn, the LIRR, the subways and a taxi uptown, Leslie at the front desk was recommended - D.J. Reynolds - right around the corner where I finally was able to relax and have a glass of wine, dinner, and a smile.

my husband and I go there often. We always enjoy the food. Especially the liver, bacon and onions. While liver and onions may not be everybody's favorite, it is ours. You can't find this dish on many menus in New York. Even when it's not on the menu here, all you have to do is ask and if they have it, they will cook it up for you.
We find the service excellent. Now that the staff knows where we like to sit, they just automatically escort us to our favorite table.
When Denis is there he always comes over to greet us and usually offers to buy a drink. (Sometimes we accept.) We didn't know his father but we're glad we found this place right here in our own city. We highly recommend you stop in and see for yourself. We recently brought some out of town guests here and they can't wait to come back

We used the bar 3 nights out of 5 on our visit in Early July.
The owner Denis is a star and always has time for us.
Liam the bartender is also a fantastic guy.
See you again in a couple of years.
Great Bar.

Want to hand out with the real Irish? Hang out hear and swamp stories at the bar. Don't eat the food...just drink.

It was a nice spot to go for a night cap. Drinks were reasonably priced, and they are open until 4am. The place was pretty quiet late at night.
