This is a fun restaurant downstairs in Rockefeller Center. During the winter, you can see people skating at the rink. The food is good. The staff is excellent. It is a bit pricy, but overall, it is worth it for what you get.

We were lucky enough to be squeezed in as the last table of the night as we were very late coming down from the top of the rock. The service we received was amazing. The view of the ice skating was brilliant! Fully recommend the food was brilliant.

Great view of the Rockefeller Ice Rink in winter. The food is very good, as is the service. It may not be the best restaurant in the city, but it is definitely worth checking out. You do see some of the NBC News folks here from time to time, but no one bothers them and they add to the atmosphere.

I really wanted to love it here, as the location is ideal but this was the most disappointing meal of our trip.

From outside, the restaurant looks quite classy in a laid-back way, but as soon as you step through the door, the noise hits you - this place is LOUD. All the marble and glass makes every noise amplified so that it was hard for the two of us to hear what the other was saying across the table. We dined at lunchtime, just after 2pm, so the main rush had passed and the restaurant was perhaps half full with most other diners just finishing their meals.

As other reviewers have said, food is pricey but it seems you are paying for the location. It was lovely to be able to glance and watch the skaters but for the price, the food and service should be better.

The menus were plasticky laminated sorts. Bread brought to the table was stale. Our starter plates weren't cleared before our mains arrived (this is a pet hate - with good service it should never happen) and we weren't offered new cutlery for the new course.

Around us, other tables hadn't been cleared once customers had left and it was obvious that no one really enjoyed their food as there was more waste on the plates than should be expected for a place charging $21 for a burger.

The chicken and vegetable soup was tasty, the calamari was thankfully not chewy and the portion generous, but, apart from the view, that was where the positive points of our meal ended. We didn't bother with dessert and coffee - and I noted that none of the other tables around us bothered with this either - perhaps a clear sign that others hadn't really wanted to spend more time and money on this sort of experience.

Better just to buy a meal from one of the many takeout options in the center for less than half the price and sit at one of the informal tables in the lower foyer.

Really disappointed with this meal. It could be done so much better. A real tourist trap.

Great view of the whorl famous ice rink. Delicious food and buzzy atmosphere. Well worth a visit for a bite and a glass of wine at lunch time.
