“Great view”
Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

It really has a nice view. Waiters are very nice but they seem hesitant new or nervous. Breakfast was fairly ordinary. But good variety. I may try something new tomorrow as I'm staying here for a few days. Coffee was good.

“Great view, rubbish food.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

It must ve noted that the place change hands very recently and they do NOT have a liquor license.

The service was slow, innacurate and non existant.

The food was so bad we left half way through the meal.

“Romantic? A joke!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

The view is the view... Ok, alway great.
But that's it.
Very noisy... So how could it be romantic?
Food is ok except our red wine that has been served too warm. Price correct.
There was a private party in the center room, not separated to stop people talking loudly. When we booked nobody told us about that party : big mistake
Howeve we had salmon and duck as main course : was good
Server was nice too.
Check : 190$ tips included for 4 main courses, a red wine bottle ($30) and 4 expresso)
I would not recommend, for that price we can have better place.

“Fabulous view, good food and very attentive waiter”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

After reading the reviews on this site I went for dinner with very little expectations. However, it turned out to be a great meal with fantastic views. We got a cloth napkin and cutlery change (maybe they are acting on other complaints) and the waiter was very friendly and informative about the views from where we were sitting. We both had cocktails and I had two courses and my husband had three and I honestly can't fault any of them. The decor is on the verge of being shabby but the view more than compensates for this.

“Good food and views”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

If you are looking for a dining venue with great elevated views of the East river, give this a try.
Pre-booked here via Open Table and also chose to Google. Good job as it isn't easy to find and out of the main drag in midtown. Recommend you look up first.
Also, make sure you book a table on the East River side as there is an alternative section which has views of downtown on the other side of the floor.
Basic surroundings but look past this if you can.
Food choices are good with plenty of meat, fish and veggie on offer. None of our starters or mains were disappointing. This is mid-priced and not over-priced, but you pay for what you get.
All food was hot and well presented.
Service was fine and we were not rushed.
Would recommend.
