Solid food, fish and chips and shepards pie a hit, burgers were also tasty. A much better choice than the big chains in NYC and a relaxing environment. Very reasobably priced for this part of town!

Have been several times to Maggie's. Food is much better than most Midtown Irish style pubs, and the service is better too. Of course they do Fish & Chips very well ! But there is so much else and for lunch I usually order one of the specials of the day, usually no pricier than the regular menu and usually done better. I give the chef credit for trying to do more than the usual Irish pub fare. Yet, the beer menu is fairly broad, so all in all in a good experience of casual setting, decent food, and a variety of drink choices ( assuming you are not an oenophile, which is not why you would go here in the first place). Be Aware - at lunchtime it gets very loud! Which is in keeping with the Irish pub style. Do yourself a favor, book a reservation.

We ate here two nights in a row with our three boys - and they loved the flatbread pizza, shepherd's pie and calamari. Mum and dad relaxed too, with some nice food and beverages. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
