“Love this unexpected gem in the middle of NYC”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

My parents and I stumbled upon the High Line and we all absolutely LOVED strolling along the cool architecture and beautiful foliage. I recommend to bring some lunch and eat/rest on one of the many chairs and sun beds that are scattered along the High Line. A must for anyone visiting NYC!

“An urban attraction”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

This is one of the best urban boardwalks in the world. A beautiful walk in the middle of the meat packing district. Nice for either a lunch break, a sports run, a romantic walk or just a simple hangout. If you are visiting NYC, its worthwhile visiting.

“people watching paradise”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

we had a fun time people watching here. you do get to see a side of NY that you would not otherwise think to see. We checked out nearby brunch places before we visited so that we could start off with brunch and then walk it off. Very safe and a great perspective from up above.

“Great way to walk Manhattan...”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

The weather wasn't the best, cold and had just snowed. But we had heard about the High Line and we were headed downtown to the Chelsea Market. It is a really cool way to walk in NYC. No lights, no traffic and a really interesting view of the city. Wish it had been spring or fall. Bet it's really nice then. But definitely recommend it if you are walking that way.

“Very enjoyable scenic walk”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

We went for a walk along here one morning and it is a very nice break from the frenetic pace in central NYC. We were able to walk along the entire path in around 1 hour but there is work going on to extend it further uptown. We got some good photos and it's definitely worthwhile, but probably not going to take up a huge part of your day. I'd recommend scoping out other things in the area and either use it as your route between attractions, or tie in some of the sights at either end of the walk as well.
