“Great Art Space”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

What a find in the middle of Manhattan a bit difficult to find the entrance mainly due to construction works at the time. But a great piece of urban re- generation of the old railway mixed with modern sculptures etc - lovely walk away from traffics and people down to Chelsea and Grenwich Village.

“Enjoyable walk in the sky”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

It is a nice break to just stroll around or relax in the the sun beds or take a coffee break or just take in the scenery. It gives another perspective of the city and if you start from notrh and walk down south you will end up in Greenwich/Soho where you can continue to stroll around and have a nice lunch/dinner or do some fantastic shopping.

“A Park that Floats above the City”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

New York is a great city for walking. The downside of walking on the street is you need to be aware of motor vehicle traffic. Well the highline takes you above the traffic. You are still walking through the city but you don't have to worry about traffic and it is landscaped with trees, grass, flowers, etc. We were there in early November and there was lots of autumn color. It is built on an old rail line, and it goes through the lower west side of NY. There was a restroom somewhere near 14th Street.

“What a great place”

I've been there for an early morning run as well as a lunchtime walk (busy as anything then) and it is really worth it.

“Life a story high!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

Love taking time out of the bustle of NYC streets to view it all from a story above! Fun in the warmer months to lounge or cool off your feet with the water bath. Enjoy!
