Great upper level walk amidst urban architecture and green plantings. A must do for visitors and residents.

“Relaxing”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

A great way to spend some time in New York without the hustle and bustle. Lush planting and artwork along the way is very pleasant as are the views from various points. A great idea for the use of an old railway line. Recommended

“A Wonderful Natural Respite from the City”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

I wasn't sure I wanted to go, but I am so glad that I did. Beautiful plantings, sculpture, and views. Some of the elevators are not working because of Sandy, but the steps up are not bad, unless you are handicapped. Take the children too! Refreshments available.

“Calm oasis in manhattan”

Lovely walk over the old train line ending in the vibrant meat packing district. Fab views and interesting juxtaposition of art, clever planting and inner city sights & sounds - not to be missed!

Reviewed October 23, 2013

Make the effort to do a detour to walk along High Line rather than the busy streets. Great views interesting art works.
