Reviewed October 13, 2013

we couldn't find restaurants because there is no signage.
The planting areas were beautiful. there is artwork all along the trail. There is noisy construction is below most of the walk.

“Busy Times on the Highline”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

It was a great way to see some of the NYC buildings with some great photo ops with telephoto and wide angled lenses. You can snap some opportunities you won't get from any other angles.
It was really busy when we were there on a Sunday with a slow meandering throng of folks. Interesting and worth a walk. We went from SoHo to Union Square and via the Highline to Times Square. We had a lot of people recommend the Highline to us. I would say do it if you have a spare hour or so, but don't be dismayed if you can't make it. It's not exactly the West Highland Way!

“Nice walk with good views”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

The High Line is just a nice walk with good views of the area and its renovated apartments. Nothing fantastic. Since I went once, I wouldn't walk it again.
