The High Line is better than just a garden on a bridge. It is a wonderful new public space. Lots of art works placed along the route, lovely gardens and the ever changing walkways make the execution of the superb. There are lots of places to sit.

A little slice of nature, very nice plantings along the way. There are places to stop and get a snack or drink. It can get hot up there in the summer. An interesting view of the water and the city.

Whoever had the idea and saw it through deserves a medal! This was a brilliant idea, extremely well executed. What is particularly impressive is that it's not just a walkway through New York, it's a real garden. Highly recommended

I visited the High Line shortly after it opened in 2009. It was wonderful then, but has since expanded and "grown in". The art is eclectic and wonderful and the benches provided a welcome rest spot.
